About Us
John and Judy Dobson operate Beeline Limited from Kereru in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, and 20 months ago moved into a new eco Timbercrete home built on the same property.
Kereru is a small farming district 60 km's southwest from Napier on the East Coast of the North Island. The business has been operating successfully for 28 years producing queen cells, queen bees, nucleus colonies, pollen, royal jelly, propolis and queen cell incubating equipment.
Another side to the business is the operation of four school buses servicing two rural schools in the area. With seasonal income variations in bee farming, and the regular income from school transport, a very enjoyable lifestyle is appreciated. Judy is a keen gardener, tree planter, motor cyclist and scuba diver, who works with the bees and drives a school bus. John enjoys bee farming, motorcycling, scuba diving, inventing and helping Judy. The children in our blended family range from age twenty six through to thirty five. John has 5 grandchildren & Judy has 4 plus one due in July 2012.
